The legendary DJ Marky straight outta Sao Paulo steps up with one of
his new partners in crime Bungle with the sublime 'Prime Time'. The man
responsible for some of the freshest sounds in recent years, including the
massive 'LK' doesn't disappoint. The crisp clean intro with a female vocal
snippet, lush pads and a smoothing sax lick rolls into a warm rounded bass
hook which has a nice system shaking sub for the clubs. Pure class.
Russia's latest export Electrosoul System has his first release on
the Grid imprint, 'Slice', and he's already sounding like a veteran. With
releases on GLO and Nookie's imprint already under his belt ESS steps up
with a rolling deep sub winding around pianos and horns. As the track
progresses the funk comes out as a vocal sample, guitars and strings all join
the mix.
