The Haggis Horns are an eight piece live funk extravaganza combining heavy breakbeat funk, soul, hip-hop and afrobeat with the virtuosity of trained jazz musicians. The members have performed and recorded with many top artists including: The Cinematic Orchestra, Lou Donaldson, Nightmares on Wax, Roots Manuva, Odyssey, Martina Topley-Bird, Corinne Bailey Rae, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Snowboy, Stuart Zender (Jamiraqui's bassist) and Mark Ronson. Noteably, the horn section was featured on the legendary deep funk album "Keb Darge presents the New Mastersounds".
The Haggis Horns are back with a taster to their hotly anticipated first album due for release in early 2007. Traveller pt 1 has all the funky guitar licks and horn stabs you'd expect from these boys and with a baritone sax solo boot you couldn't fit anymore funk up in that ass!
