Fresh from the success of his debut various artist album on his Co-Lab
Recordings imprint, Heist touches down on Grid with a release that people
have been waiting to get their hands on for quite some time. Two contrasting
tracks, each receiving plays from all corners of the scene.
'Hockenheim' begins with arpeggio fx's and high chord stabs before the
Sopranos sampling breakdown gives way to a warm rounded bass, rolling
beats and hypnotic auras ? all these elements combined signal a classic in the
making. Originally championed by the great Grooverider nearly a year ago
this track, conceived for one of the scene most well respected labels, finally
finds a home on Grid ? their loss is most definitely our gain!
'Gynorg' sees Heist in steppa mode ? tuff pounding beats, swirling fx's and a
high bass workout is all powered by a meaty sub bass that will be blowing
holes in speakers wherever and whenever it's dropped.
