Taken from the recent DSS album 'Look Out, Watch Out' (FSRCD092), the A side 'Hold On Me' was screaming out for release as a kicking 7 inch single, as May and the band push the big funk button on this original composition. Residing on the flip side is DSS's respectful take on a quite recent modern funk classic, namely Charles Bradley & The Bullets 'This Love Ain't Big Enough (for The Two Of Us) Shirley Davis puts a feminine slant on this super hard funky soul gem, and rounds off Deep Street Souls' latest addition to the modern funk lexicon.
