Launched at the start of 2007 as an outlet deeper beats and soulful sounds, Allsorts saw the Grid Recordings Group expand their musical horizons. Releases from artists such as Influx UK, DJ Marky & Bungle, A Sides and Electrosoul System have confirmed that there will be no compromise on quality and so nearly two years on they present their first mix CD ? a collection of some of the finest moments on the label to date, as well as some brand new unreleased tracks. With this project they wanted to create something which you could sit down and listen to at home. Drum and Bass is versatile and it's not always about the dancefloor, this collection shows it can be both.
