The Range follows up last year's 'disk' EP with a new release on Donky Pitch. 'Seneca', positions three original cuts of highly percussive rhythms laced with his trademark footwork trails, jungle breaks, sweet melodies and rumbling bass lines against three diverse remixes coming from some of the most interesting operators within electronic music in the US. Obey City (LuckyMe) switches up his usual style to deliver a slow jam full of plucked strings, Howse (Tri Angle) delivers a remix of fractured electronics where drums crackle against hazy melodies and Supreme Cuts toughen up the drums and bass hits for a unique and heady brew.
The Range has previously released on Astro Nautico, being a key member of the collective that are responsible for a huge number of great releases and a groundbreaking club night in Brooklyn. He released 'disk' on Donky Pitch last year, has remixed Kuhn on Civil Music and is working towards his full length album, expected later this year.
