It's been some time since The Qualitons have made some noise on the current Nu-Funk scene. Their debut album "Panoramic Tymes" from 2010 received amazing reactions from people all over the world. Wah Wah Records co-owner Dom Servini stated "it's like The Kinks, Tony Allen and Brian Auger have been chopped up and fused together to create a trippy, rollercoaster musical tour de force". What a perfect description. So it was only a matter of time that producer Kanada Káosz and the band would get together to start writing and arranging new songs for their second album.
These two brand new tracks are perfect examples of what you can expect from their forthcoming second long-player. The nasty funk sound of Rolling The Bones features Los Angeles native Andy Hefler on vocals. The afro-soul b-side, titled Fülcimpa, reveals the progress the band has made since their last recordings.
Two years of patience was well worth the trouble. The Qualitons are ready to delight us again! Watch out for their forthcoming second long-player, soon to be released on Tramp Records!
