When Asad Rizvi called, announcing 'I got something that you want, something that you need', we were amused. When he mentioned Robert Owens, we got pretty excited. Then we heard his remix. He really hit the nail on the head with this one. The kid has the Midas touch.
Asad gave Loveslap's funky, dusty original a serious reworking. Asad's mix is a trancy, sing-a-long chugger that cleverly manipulates the chorus to lock his groove.
Heather Johnson's vocals and lyrics are beautiful. Her plea for 'Pillow Talk' is complemented perfectly by Robert Owens' sultry crooning. This one will get your heads and asses swaying.
The remix has been extremely well received broadly. Both Simon Dunmore and Jamie Lewis featured the track on recent mix compilations.
