'Knowing Innocence' is the second release on Andy Graham aka Sei A's Seinan Music imprint, following up the wonderful 'Meth' of 2008 which, among many other outstanding productions, helped the Glasgow-based producer become seriously hot property.
'Knowing Innocence' see's producer Graham explore deep, electronic and vocal house in a way that is fast becoming a trademark. Sinister and melancholic but with real warmth and charm there is just that certain something about 'Knowing Innocence' and Graham's music in general that is incredibly engaging.
The dub mix let's the flowing pads of the original breathe and reveals more of the subtle synth tweaking that tips a nod to Graham's other output as Droido, and provides a little something for those who are vocal-phobic.
With a strong French following through singles and a forthcoming and critically acclaimed album on Missive, it's no surprise that the Glasweigen producer has enlisted French house genius Llorca for the remix. The result is forward thinking, funk laced futuristic deep house which really adds to the package.
Finally, the release is rounded off with a track which has been the peak of Sei A live sets over the past few months, 'Ballet Of Synths'. As the title suggests, the track is an intricate ode to our electronic friends and is a rousing chord-laden anthem in the making.
Yet another winner from Sei A, it seems?.
